Mint Pulao (Pudina Rice) Recipe

Ingredients:-

Preparation Method:-

  1. Prepare the Paste: First, grind the mint leaves, green chillies, and a few pieces of ginger and garlic into a smooth paste using a mixer.
  2. Tempering: Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker or a pot. Add the whole biryani spices and sauté them.

  3. Sauté Vegetables: Add chopped onions and your preferred vegetable pieces. Let them cook for a few minutes.   

          
  4. Add Mint Paste: Now, add the prepared mint paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
  5. Mix Rice: Add the soaked rice and mix gently so that the flavors coat the grains evenly.
  6. Add Water: Pour 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice and add salt to taste.
  7. Cooking: If using a pressure cooker, cook for 2 whistles. Once the pressure settles, serve hot with Raita.
  8. Beat the Heat: Healthy Cucumber Raita Recipe 
  9. Cucumber Raita Recipe

    Ingredients:

    • Curd/Yogurt: 1 cup (whisked smooth)
    • Cucumber: 1 (finely chopped or grated)
    • Onion: 1 small (finely chopped)
    • Green Chilies: 1-2 (finely chopped)
    • Coriander Leaves: A few (finely chopped)
    • Salt: To taste

    Instructions:

    1. ​Take the curd in a bowl and whisk it thoroughly until it becomes smooth and lump-free.
    2. ​Add the chopped cucumber, onions, and green chilies to the whisked curd.
    3. ​Add salt according to your taste and mix everything well.
    4. ​Finally, garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
    5. ​Your cool and healthy Cucumber Raita is ready to serve! 🔗
    Tip: This refreshing raita pairs perfectly with Biryani, Pulao, or any spicy rice dish. Since you haven't used any additional masala powders in this recipe, you can also call this 'No-Masala Healthy Mint Pulao'."
